I bought a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid last week. It's Magnesium Metallic, CVT (i.e. automatic), SULEV (super ultra low emissions.) So far I get over 40 mpg!

The 2004 exterior is slightly redesigned from the 2003. The magnesium metallic color is new for 2004. The front headlights and grill are also a little different.

The grey interior is a new option for the 2004 model. It's very roomy and comfortable.

I've gone 236 miles on less than half a tank of gas. Not too bad, considering it has an 11.9 gallon tank. My current gas mileage is 41.2 mpg (center display.) The right display shows the gas meter, the IMA battery meter (this is the special battery, not the regular car battery), and indicates when I am charging the battery or using it to help accelerate. The left display has the tach, as well as an indicator for when the car is in "auto stop." Auto stop is when the engine shuts off when I stop moving the car (e.g. at a red light.) This saves on gas and produces fewer emissions.
